Oliver Peoples

Since the launch of the first retro inspired Oliver Peoples Eyewear Collection in 1987, the fashion-forward line features the finest materials with details only found in upscale designer eyewear. Each iconic design from Oliver Peoples Sunglasses to the line featuring Oliver Peoples Glasses is created in a design studio located in West Hollywood, California.

The studio location is not surprising given the Hollywood connection associated with the collection. It involves an iconic design which is the sunglass version inspired by the signature eyewear style worn by Gregory Peck, who was the namesake in the film, To Kill A Mockingbird. When the concept of designing this iconic style for the Oliver Peoples Sunglasses line first surfaced, it involved legal negotiations that took place in collaboration with the Peck Estate.

The entire collection embodies the designer's vision and the latest technological advances. The production process involves limited quantities where each individual frame is exquisitely handcrafted in a dedicated factory. It is truly fascinating to observe the artisans who delicately sculpt the material into the final design. The artisans repeatedly reference the original design drawings to ensure the integrity of the final product.

The Oliver Peoples Glasses collection, which includes colors and styles exclusive to the brand, has a very strong appeal to refined consumers. This is one reason why you will not find a logo on any of the frames. The diverse designs feature everything from exquisite Gold carved frames with filigree details and Bushed Gold Blue Flash Mirror Lenses to exotic Black Satin Mirror Lenses.
