We love the tagline for the new Plié collection by Theo: “Welcome to the fold” is a neat wink to the ingenious design of James Van Vossel, the Belgian designer who conceptualized the structure for a pair of glasses based on folding. The Plié collection are frames with end pieces that have been folded first forward, and then back, seamlessly transitioning to the temples. The result is a technical marvel of stainless steel that comes in a variety of eye-catching colors—it is Theo, after all.
