Last month we traveled to Las Vegas for the Vision Expo West conference, which gave us the chance to connect with industry colleagues from around the country. Vision Expo’s East and West conferences are an important opportunity for the Eye Elegance team to stay abreast of the best education and training available in our industry, while also learning about the latest trends in eyewear. Benefitting the Vision Council, proceeds from Vision Expo help the Council educate consumers about vision care and eyewear options.
New from Blac: Blac Ace
Blac eyewear by Bellinger is known for their adjustable, lightweight carbon frames reinforced with titanium for excellent strength and durability. Designed and hand made in Denmark, Blac has announced a new line: BLAC ACE. Blac Ace frames feature an acetate frame front, with the signature Blac hinge and carbon fiber temples.
Tom Davies: Limited Edition Silver 925 Collection
Tom Davies Bespoke eyewear are created by master craftsmen who must complete ten years of training before working at Tom Davies. All frames are handcrafted, and each frame takes between 16 and 22 hours of handwork by their experts; more than half of the frames created by Tom Davies craftsmen are bespoke.
This new limited edition Silver 925 Collection will offer a number of sunglasses in solid sterling silver and buffalo horn, with an ophthalmic frame.
Santos De Cartier Horizon
Few words are as synonymous with luxury as Cartier, and the new Santos De Cartier Horizon collection exemplifies luxury eyewear. Santos de Cartier Horizon features two frame shapes: an aviator-style (available in two sizes) and rectangular (available in one size). Both frames will be available in a brushed champagne-gold finish or a brushed platinum finish, and will be available in-store in January 2017.
